About us
Newport Beach artist of California scenes, oceans, deserts, and mountains, Tracy has held a valuable vision of the local areas for over forty years. He was born in Laguna Beach and grew up in Santa Ana. During his youth, he was known more as an athlete. He started drawing airplanes as a child, missing his Marine aviator father overseas. Strong influence from his high school art teacher introduced him to the world of art. Tracy’s whole family was drawn to the ocean; they loved sailing, kayaking, swimming, and surfing. His family also spent time camping inland at O’Neal Park, Cleveland National Forest, and Lake Elsinore. They frequently went horseback riding at Irvine Park and, don’t forget, spent time at Eddie Martin Aviation, now known as John Wayne Airport.
The artist kept the memory and beauty of those scenes using his local knowledge and a unique perspective on the most beautiful locations. Which can take us to places we are barely able to remember—some of them are gone or changed beyond recognition.
He is a musician, a drummer, and a lifelong surfer. His recent passion is a car collection, painted on canvas in acrylic, of the cars he loved, owned, and drove.
My tendency toward realism, my love for impressionism and my desire to show nature and the world at its most beautiful is why I paint."

Almost six decades in the music business has brought me to this point. Having fun and playing blues at this beautiful place, Bistango / Bayside. From my first recordings to playing live, I've always felt good about what's next.
The groups we've formed for the blues nights are all slightly different. Rooted in good American Blues from the Delta to Chicago to Texas to Kansas to New Orleans, it don't matter. To keep our sound true to the Blues, it's based on the Blues.
Hats off to Bistango for making this happen and all the players for everything.
"And the Blues makers."
